LARGE-SCALE STAINLESS STEEL SCULPTURES
Monumental, free-standing sculptural objects made from stainless steel for public spaces, architecture, parks, and commercial developments.
From organic, mirror-finish volumes to geometric and abstract forms designed individually for a specific location. We combine sculpture design with fabrication technology, structural engineering, foundations, transport, and installation.
SCULPTURE THAT WORKS AT THE SCALE OF THE SITE
A sculpture placed in a square, on a roundabout, in a park, or in front of a building is perceived as part of the overall space. Its proportions, silhouette, viewing angles, and the way the form changes as you move around it all matter.
That’s why we determine the object’s scale in relation to the architecture, surroundings, and the distance from which the sculpture will most often be viewed.
MIRROR-POLISHED STAINLESS STEEL
Polished stainless steel makes it possible to achieve a surface that visually absorbs its surroundings. The sky, greenery, architecture, and movement are reflected in the form and become part of how it’s experienced.
With large forms, the mirror effect depends on more than polishing alone. What’s critical is the geometry, the quality of surface forming, and the way joints are laid out and finished.
FROM A 3D MODEL TO A REAL-WORLD FORM
The starting point can be a 3D model, an artistic concept, architectural documentation, a sketch, or an initial idea.
Based on that, we define how to build the object at full scale: how to divide the form into fabrication components, where to run the seams, how to design the internal structure, and how to transfer loads to the foundation or anchoring system.
CLEAN FORM ON THE OUTSIDE. STRUCTURE HIDDEN INSIDE.
In the finished piece, the viewer should see above all a cohesive form and a refined surface. The load-bearing structure, reinforcements, anchoring, and manufacturing splits remain subordinate to the design.
With large-scale sculptures, it’s precisely these invisible elements that determine stability, transport feasibility, and safe on-site installation.
DESIGNED FOR A SPECIFIC LOCATION
A sculpture for a roundabout is designed differently than an object for a park, and differently again than a form placed in front of a hotel, office building, or apartment development.
We analyse the ground conditions, surroundings, viewing directions, the feasibility of building the foundation, access for transport and installation equipment, and how the space around the object will be used.
BESPOKE STAINLESS STEEL SCULPTURES
This is not a catalogue product. Dimensions, geometry, structure, and the finishing approach result from the design and the conditions of the specific project.
We produce large-scale abstract, organic, and geometric stainless steel sculptures, as well as pieces based on a symbol, a sign, or an original form. The surface can be mirror-finish, polished, satin, or custom-developed to match the character of the project.
