THE PRETENDE STANDARD STRENGTHENED BY
INTERNATIONAL KNOW-HOW
PRETENDE develops its standard for architectural signage systems based on production experience, installation practice and membership in ISA, the International Sign Association. Access to international signage industry knowledge supports more accurate design, technical, production and installation decisions. ISA strengthens PRETENDE’s access to best practices, quality standards and solutions used by professional signage system manufacturers worldwide. For investors, this means greater confidence in decision-making, better risk control and a signage system created for durability, visibility and reliable long-term operation.

Sectors
We work for brands and buildings with different needs – from retail and hospitality to offices, real estate, industry and public space.

Form is the result of decisions, not the starting point.
The place, the architecture, the brand’s requirements, the exposure conditions and the expected durability decide which solution makes sense. That is why we work with many technologies – light, metal, acrylic, freestanding structures and wayfinding systems – choosing them for the specific task.
From subtle interior signage to a large-format sign visible from a great distance. From a single element to a consistent system for an entire building or a network of locations.
Signage System
Good signage does not start in production and does not end with installation. The right decisions on visibility, proportions, materials, technology, structure and installation have to be made earlier – and then kept under control.
The PRETENDE Signage System puts this process in order. It combines analysis, design validation, documentation and technical knowledge into one way of working, so that decisions are made earlier, errors are caught before production and the information about the signage remains available after the project is completed.
It is a system created for investors, brands, architects and facility teams – especially where signage is not a single product but part of a larger project.

Process
From the first design decision to installation on site, we run the project as one coherent process. We combine analysis, design, engineering, production, quality control and implementation so that each stage follows from the previous one and responsibility is not passed between different contractors.
This makes it easier to control the quality, the deadlines and how closely the final signage matches the design intent.

Knowledge
We share our experience in designing, producing and installing signage. We show how materials, light, structure, visibility and installation conditions affect the final result.

Decisions in signage start with knowledge.
Analyses, guides and examples from our projects help to assess solutions before production – with a better understanding of the cost, durability, technology and the impact of signage on the space.
