ACRYLIC LIGHTFORM™ is an acrylic lightbox, illuminated signage unit or glowing Plexiglas form in which LED light is guided through the acrylic material.

In its simplest version, the front panel illuminates. In more advanced executions, the light can also operate along the sides, edges, corners, or throughout the entire body of the sign.

A standard lightbox typically functions as a flat panel with an illuminated face. ACRYLIC LIGHTFORM™ can deliver a more spatial effect: as a three-dimensional form, a soft surface of light, or a luminous detail integrated into the architecture.

The difference is not only about the material. The difference lies in the design decision: how the light guides the eye, how the sign looks during the day, how it performs after dark, and whether it elevates the space or simply indicates the brand’s presence.

If you require a lightbox with a routed face and push-through acrylic, ARCHIFORM LED™ could be the better solution. If a large, replaceable graphic is the priority, consider a textile SEG lightbox or a large-format Flex Face lightbox.

The choice of technology should be driven by the sign’s function, installation location, desired lighting effect, scale, materials and future service requirements.

In ACRYLIC LIGHTFORM™ acrylic is not treated merely as a face material. Its thickness, color, light transmission level, surface texture and the way it integrates with LEDs all influence the overall perception of the sign.

Milky and opal acrylic help achieve a soft, even illumination. Clear, colored or layered acrylic allows you to create depth, edge definition, translucency and a more distinctive character for the illuminated form.
